Dear all,
Please let me clarify (as probably was not clear) that if the government will reopen schools on April 3rd or some days later, we will reopen the classes in the face-to-face format, leaving also the online for those who could not return due to flight restrictions.
I hope it was clear but, due to emails I received, probably not. Sorry and wish you all a good day.
Marcello

Dear MBAs
I hope this email finds you well and safely at home. I am sending this email to give you a brief update, despite it is not definitive as the situation is changing rapidly.
Many of you are asking us about the 3rd term and its organization. As you know, all schools and universities are closed in Italy up to April 3rd. Still, this closing may likely be extended. Moreover, Europe has closed its borders for 30 days, so it will not be possible for many of you to return to Bologna soon. Therefore, we have decided to continue with online classes until the situation will be completely resolved. My opinion as a non-expert on the matter is that we could gradually return to normality in May (at least this is my hope).
I know that some of you are concerned about their flats and personal belongings left in Bologna, frustration with lack of interaction online, as well as the forthcoming internship campaign. I genuinely understand and feel the same, but I am also positive that we will be able to finish the academic year as planned, and you can begin your internship in due time or maximum by September (if the stop will be a bit longer).
I am also aware that you decided to join Bologna for the numerous networking opportunities with companies and that online format is not ideal in this situation. That is why, even if courses will continue to be delivered online, I promise that we will be able to organize specific events dedicated to interactions with the professionals and company visits as it was originally planned in your track schedule. This is something the MBA team and I will work on with all our effort.
Today, you will also receive your Point Positive Report and instruction on how to read it and complete some exercise based on the Workbook that comes together. In agreement with Essentic, we decided to deliver it now since we all need some positive news and the report is a source of positivity and emotions. I will be happy if you wish to share with me your insight on the report and if and how it has been useful for you.
Moreover, to continue our leadership talks with Mr. Eugenio Sidoli, and to feel a bit closer in this moment we have decided to schedule on Teams a live session next Monday March 23rd at 3 CET. It is dedicated to understanding how companies are handling this crisis. Feel free to join us for a lively session (the team will update the calendar soon sending out this invitation). It is not mandatory (I know you might have some other plans during the spring break) but we thought it could be nicer for all of us locked in our apartments.
Finally, here<https://www.nytimes.com/news-event/coronavirus?te=1&nl=morning-briefing&emc=edit_MBE_p_20200316§ion=topNews&campaign_id=51&instance_id=16778&segment_id=22265&user_id=c88be34ff378fbb8830c04b1410678c4®i_id=78720734tion=topNews> you can access a free daily coverage by the New York Times on the coronavirus outbreak to remain updated on this emergency. It is very informative.
I wish you all good health and positivity in these difficult moments. We will get out of this period stronger and better as individuals but also as society.
With my warmest regards,
Marcello
