[Globalmba2019] UPDATE | 9 - 12 March and III term

I hope this e-mail finds you well.

First of all, we would like to thank you for the cooperation shown over the last week. We have seen a significant involvement from your side and once again, your feedbacks on the online sessions are extremely important for us.

I am writing this e-mail to update you and reply through a single communication to the questions we are receiving. To better organize the communication, I will address the central points raised:


  1.  Break: Will spring break stay as it is or will classes that we lost be pushed into the break? The Spring break will not be affected; it is confirmed from 16th to 30th March and no classes or exams will be rescheduled during this period;



  1.  Classes lost: when will these be recovered? The classes lost will be recovered in the III term. Some of them have already been scheduled, some others are currently being finalized. In any case, they will be rescheduled from 30th March onwards;


  1.  3rd term: when will it start? when will the timetable of 3rd term be available? The III term will start on 30th March. The schedule will be published today. For this reason, please note that you will see the Outlook calendar being gradually updated. In this regard, it is important that you consider that the classes missed from 24th to 28th February will be rescheduled in the III term.
            Additionally, this is to also inform you that some courses, especially those which will start in May/June, are to be scheduled. You will receive a separate communication on this.


  1.  Exams: will we have exams next week and if not, when will exams be? The written exams planned for next week ("Food and Wine Distribution and Retail" and "Measuring Sustainable Performance") have been cancelled. They will be rescheduled in the III term, likely at the beginning of it in order to guarantee continuity in the learning process. We will update you as soon as we receive confirmations.


  1.  Presentations: confirm timings of presentations for all courses next week. The presentations planned for next week ("Leading People and Organizations" on Tuesday afternoon, "Food and Wine Distribution and Retail" on Tuesday morning (10.00-13.00)) are confirmed.
            Please note that also the Sulitest will be conducted online on Teams at the time previously planned, Wednesday March, 11 from 16.30 to 18.00.


  1.  Next week schedule: when will the schedule be updated? The next week schedules on Outlook are updated.


Finally, we would like to apologize for the inconveniences, but as you know we are complying with the directives of the Government. We receive weekly communications from the competent authorities, which is why we have waited before clarifying the aspects above.
