[Globalmba2019] Information request

Dear Alex, dear all,
I understand your concern and I am sorry for this 2-days of silence but we are waiting official communication by the Rector, since the Global MBA is a full-time university master under the responsibility of BBS and Unibo.

The authorities’ indications are at the moment that classes are stopped until March 1st. From March 2nd, we are waiting official communication based also on the evolution of the situation. At 90%, classes will begin again on Monday March 2nd in the online format if the face-to-face lectures will continue to not be possible or in the blended method if face-to-face lectures will be authorised again but some students are eventually living in areas that will be declared “red zones”.

This is what we know at the moment and I am sorry I cannot give you all more specific information as the situation is evolving day by day. For the online learning, we will be using Microsoft Teams and each student can connect from home using their mobile, tablet or pc. The schedule will not change next week whereas this week’s classes and exams will be rescheduled in the future.

I do hope we could meet all together and celebrate the end of this situation soon. More information will follow in the next days.

I have not heard any information regarding whats happening with lectures or exams, and I am not part of the WhatsApp group - which is seemingly the official form of communication now.

Do you know if we will be stuck at home until Spring break? Or have any information for us? A lot of us have the opportunity to go to our families outside the country, away from the virus, and do not want to be stuck on lock-down in Bologna without the ability to travel back home - especially when we could have avoided the issue.

I hope you understand the situation many of the global students are in and act accordingly with giving out information.
