[Globalmba2019] MBA | Announcement and save the data

Dear MBA students,
I hope you are all good and well settled in the city. I know some of you are experiencing some problems in finding an apartment and I hope you will be okay soon.

Today, you will visit FICO and also meet the General Director of CAAB and General Secretary of FICO Foundation. FICO is a unique thematic park on the excellence of Made in Italy regarding the area food and wine. I hope you can enjoy the visit. Differently, from what I thought, I am not available to come for a last minute management meeting of the Global.

I am also writing to give an important data about the Seminar: “Developing a Leadership Mindset” that Eugenio Sidoli and I are developing as an experiment for this year. We will have the first session together on Friday November 8th where we will be meeting in the plant of Philips Morris in Bologna and where, in addition to the lecture, you will have a chance to have a super interesting factory tour (about 2 hours).

More information will come but I wanted to communicate that the topic of this first meeting is: “Learning How to Manage Others” with a special focus on delegation and feedback. The lecture will be about 3 hours and Eugenio has offered to facilitate the presence of other testimonials in all the seminars.

Our goal is to help developing your leadership skills and mindset so that you could be prepared to face your future career challenges.

More to come but this is a first important update to let you save the date in your agenda.
