[Globalmba2019] Lessons schedule on Outlook Calendar

Dear All,
we hope this e-mail finds you well.

This is to kindly inform you that starting from today, you can have access to the lessons schedule through the integrated calendar of Office 365. As you know, Office 365 is available to all enrolled University of Bologna students and it is accessible at the portal.office365.com with university account username and password (@studio.unibo.it). For this reason, you will no longer have to check the pdf schedule on Moodle but you can directly check your Outlook calendar. Please find below some easy key points on how to use and view the calendar:


1.    You will shortly receive an automatic invitation to accept and open the calendar which looks like the picture attached;

2.    You have three view options:



*         To accept the invitation and view the calendar by simply clicking on "accept",

*         To copy and paste the URL you can find in the invitation and add it to a new blank calendar you should create by yourselves,

*         To download the Outlook app, which based on some test we have made, seems the smoothest and faster way to sync and refresh the calendar.



3.    Set the Italian time zone;

4.    Constantly monitor the calendar to check possible changes.

Office 365 Calendar does not always update automatically, depending also on the speed connection you have. For this reason, to be sure to do not miss any change we may make, I strongly suggest you to save this e-mail as a bookmark in order to always have access to "accept and open" the calendar. In this way, you can be sure to see the latest version of the schedule.
In any case, to avoid misunderstandings, you will always receive a notification via e-mail in case of a lecture change; on the contrary, as regards classrooms, you must always check the updated monitor at the ground floor.

ps. I would also like to take the chance to inform you that on the Outlook calendar you will see a lecture change. The Financial and Managerial Accounting lesson scheduled for November, 25 has been moved to November, 26 in the morning (from 9.15 to 13.15) while International Finance has been moved to the afternoon session (from 14 to 18) of the same day.
